The UAE Dirham (AED) is the official currency of the United Arab Emirates, introduced in 1973 to replace the Qatar and Dubai Riyal. It has been pegged to the US Dollar at a fixed rate of 3.6725 AED per USD since 1997, providing exceptional monetary stability.
