About Swiss Franc
The Swiss Franc (CHF) is the official currency of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and one of the most important safe-haven currencies in the world. The Macanese Pataca (MOP) is the official currency of Macau Special Administrative Region of China, used alongside the Hong Kong Dollar (which is widely accepted at a rate of 1 HKD = 1.03 MOP approximately). The pataca has been pegged to the HKD since 1977. Macau is the only place in China where gambling is legal, making its economy - per capita one of the world's richest - almost entirely dependent on gaming and tourism revenues. The Monetary Authority of Macao issues the pataca.
