About Colombian Peso
The Colombian Peso (COP) is the official currency of Colombia, with a history dating to 1837, making it one of the older continuously used currencies in Latin America. About Czech Koruna
The Czech Koruna (CZK) became the sole currency of the Czech Republic on 8 February 1993, following the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia - the "Velvet Divorce" - and the separation from the Slovak Koruna. The word "koruna" means "crown". The Czech National Bank manages monetary policy with an inflation-targeting regime. The Czech Republic has been an EU member since 2004 but has not yet adopted the Euro, retaining its own currency as a matter of national policy.
