About Costa Rican Colon
The Costa Rican Colon (CRC) is the official currency of Costa Rica, named after Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon in Spanish) who arrived on the coast of Costa Rica in 1502. Introduced in 1896, it replaced the Costa Rican peso. The Banco Central de Costa Rica manages monetary policy. About Danish Krone
The Danish Krone (DKK) is the official currency of Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. First introduced in 1875 as part of the Scandinavian Monetary Union alongside Sweden and Norway, it has been Denmark's sole official currency since 1914. Denmark is an EU member but has a formal opt-out from adopting the Euro, and the krone has been pegged to the Euro within a narrow band of plus or minus 2.25% since 1999 (previously pegged to the Deutsche Mark since 1982).
