About Costa Rican Colon

The Costa Rican Colon (CRC) is the official currency of Costa Rica, named after Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon in Spanish) who arrived on the coast of Costa Rica in 1502. Introduced in 1896, it replaced the Costa Rican peso. The Banco Central de Costa Rica manages monetary policy. Costa Rica is notable in Latin America for its stable democracy, high standard of living, and strong eco-tourism and technology sectors. The colon is divided into 100 centimos, though low-value centimo coins are rarely used.

About Serbian Dinar

The Serbian Dinar (RSD) has been Serbia's official currency since 2003, when the Yugoslav dinar was replaced following the dissolution of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The National Bank of Serbia manages monetary policy with a managed float regime where the dinar is de facto stable against the Euro. Serbia is a candidate for EU membership and its economy is closely integrated with the EU trade bloc. Major industries include automotive manufacturing (Fiat Chrysler), chemicals, banking, and agriculture. Belgrade has grown as a regional financial and technology hub.
