About Dominican Peso
The Dominican Peso (DOP) is the official currency of the Dominican Republic, occupying the eastern two-thirds of the island of Hispaniola. Algeria is the largest country in Africa by land area and holds significant hydrocarbon reserves - oil and natural gas account for the majority of government revenues and export earnings. The dinar operates under a managed float exchange regime and is not freely convertible. Algeria has used foreign exchange controls and import restrictions to manage its balance of payments.
