About Dominican Peso
The Dominican Peso (DOP) is the official currency of the Dominican Republic, occupying the eastern two-thirds of the island of Hispaniola. The peso has been reintroduced multiple times throughout the country's turbulent history, with the current version established in 1947. The Ethiopian Birr (ETB) is the official currency of Ethiopia, the second most populous country in Africa and one of the world's fastest-growing economies. The word "birr" means "silver" in Amharic. Ethiopia's economy is largely agricultural - it is the world's largest producer of chat (khat) and one of the largest of coffee, which is believed to have originated in the Ethiopian highlands.
