About Egyptian Pound
The Egyptian Pound (EGP) is the official currency of Egypt and one of the oldest currency systems in the world, with versions of the pound used since Egypt adopted a monetary system in the 19th century. The Central Bank of Egypt manages monetary policy. About Bangladeshi Taka
The Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) has been the official currency of Bangladesh since the country's independence in 1971, replacing the Pakistani rupee. The word "taka" derives from the Sanskrit "tankah", an ancient silver coin. Bangladesh Bank, the central bank, manages monetary policy. The taka is divided into 100 poisha. Bangladesh's economy has grown remarkably over the past three decades, powered primarily by its garment and textile export industry - the second largest in the world after China.
