About Euro
The Euro (EUR) is the official currency of the Eurozone, comprising 20 of the 27 European Union member states - the single largest currency union in the world by GDP. About Paraguayan Guarani
The Paraguayan Guarani (PYG) is the official currency of Paraguay, named after the indigenous Guarani people who constitute a significant portion of the Paraguayan population and whose language is co-official with Spanish. Introduced in 1944, the guarani replaced the peso boliviano. The Banco Central del Paraguay manages monetary policy.
