About Indonesian Rupiah
The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the official currency of Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country and largest archipelago nation. The word "rupiah" derives from the Sanskrit "rupyakam" (silver). First issued in 1946, the rupiah replaced the Dutch colonial guilder. Bank Indonesia manages monetary policy. The Paraguayan Guarani (PYG) is the official currency of Paraguay, named after the indigenous Guarani people who constitute a significant portion of the Paraguayan population and whose language is co-official with Spanish. Introduced in 1944, the guarani replaced the peso boliviano. The Banco Central del Paraguay manages monetary policy.
