About Indonesian Rupiah
The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the official currency of Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country and largest archipelago nation. The word "rupiah" derives from the Sanskrit "rupyakam" (silver). First issued in 1946, the rupiah replaced the Dutch colonial guilder. Bank Indonesia manages monetary policy. The Swedish Krona (SEK) is the official currency of Sweden. Despite being an EU member since 1995, Sweden held a referendum in 2003 in which voters rejected adopting the Euro, and Sweden has since maintained the krona with no current plans for Eurozone entry. The Riksbank, established in 1668, is the world's oldest central bank and manages monetary policy. Sweden has a highly developed, export-oriented economy known for brands like IKEA, Volvo, H&M, Ericsson, and Spotify. The krona is divided into 100 ore, though ore coins are no longer issued.
