About Indian Rupee
The Indian Rupee (INR) is the official currency of India, the world's most populous country and fifth largest economy. The name "rupee" derives from the Sanskrit "rupyakam" (silver coin), used since the Maurya Empire around 300 BCE. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) manages monetary policy. The rupee was decimalised in 1957 and is divided into 100 paise, though paise coins below 50 are no longer in circulation. About Paraguayan Guarani
The Paraguayan Guarani (PYG) is the official currency of Paraguay, named after the indigenous Guarani people who constitute a significant portion of the Paraguayan population and whose language is co-official with Spanish. Introduced in 1944, the guarani replaced the peso boliviano. The Banco Central del Paraguay manages monetary policy.
