About Iraqi Dinar
The Iraqi Dinar (IQD) is the official currency of Iraq, one of the world's largest oil producers with reserves comparable to Saudi Arabia's. The dinar was introduced in 1932, replacing the Indian rupee. The Central Bank of Iraq manages monetary policy with a quasi-peg to the US Dollar. The dinar underwent a reissue in 2003 following the fall of Saddam Hussein's government, replacing both the "Swiss" dinar used in Kurdistan and the Saddam-era dinar at various exchange rates.
About Mozambican Metical
The Mozambican Metical (MZN) was reintroduced in 2006 at a rate of 1,000 old meticals to 1 new metical following years of inflation after Mozambique's devastating civil war that ended in 1992. The Banco de Mocambique manages monetary policy. Mozambique is a rapidly developing East African country with significant natural resources - offshore natural gas fields discovered in the Rovuma Basin are among the world's largest, positioning Mozambique for major LNG exports. The country also exports prawns, coal, aluminium, and cashew nuts. The metical is divided into 100 centavos.
