The Iranian Rial (IRR) is the official currency of Iran, though Iranians commonly quote prices in tomans (1 toman = 10 rials). About Zambian Kwacha
The Zambian Kwacha (ZMW), meaning "dawn" or "freedom" in Nyanja, was redenominated in January 2013 at a rate of 1,000 old kwacha (ZMK) to 1 new kwacha (ZMW), eliminating the large denominations that had accumulated from years of inflation. The Bank of Zambia manages monetary policy. Zambia is Africa's second largest copper producer and copper accounts for the bulk of its export revenues, making the kwacha highly sensitive to global copper prices.
