About Jamaican Dollar
The Jamaican Dollar (JMD) has been the official currency of Jamaica since 1969, replacing the Jamaican pound following decimalisation. Georgia's economy has undergone significant reforms since independence, establishing strong property rights and a competitive business environment that attracted considerable foreign investment.
