About Jamaican Dollar
The Jamaican Dollar (JMD) has been the official currency of Jamaica since 1969, replacing the Jamaican pound following decimalisation. The Bank of Jamaica manages monetary policy with a floating exchange rate, and the JMD has depreciated steadily over the decades relative to major currencies. The Swedish Krona (SEK) is the official currency of Sweden. Despite being an EU member since 1995, Sweden held a referendum in 2003 in which voters rejected adopting the Euro, and Sweden has since maintained the krona with no current plans for Eurozone entry. The Riksbank, established in 1668, is the world's oldest central bank and manages monetary policy. Sweden has a highly developed, export-oriented economy known for brands like IKEA, Volvo, H&M, Ericsson, and Spotify. The krona is divided into 100 ore, though ore coins are no longer issued.
