About Japanese Yen
The Japanese Yen (JPY) is the official currency of Japan and the third most traded currency in global foreign exchange markets, accounting for approximately 17% of daily forex turnover. Introduced in 1871 as part of the Meiji government's monetary reforms, the yen replaced a complex system of Feudal domain currencies. The Bank of Japan (BoJ) manages monetary policy. About Kazakhstani Tenge
The Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT) became the official currency of Kazakhstan in November 1993, replacing the Soviet ruble following independence in 1991. Kazakhstan is Central Asia's largest and wealthiest economy, possessing enormous reserves of oil, natural gas, uranium (the world's top uranium producer), copper, zinc, and other minerals. The National Bank of Kazakhstan manages monetary policy. The tenge experienced significant devaluations in 2009 and 2015 in response to falling oil prices and the devaluation of the Russian ruble.
