About Myanmar Kyat
The Myanmar Kyat (MMK) is the official currency of Myanmar (formerly Burma), managed by the Central Bank of Myanmar. The kyat has experienced extraordinary volatility following the military coup of February 2021, which led to international sanctions, economic disruption, and a collapse in investor confidence. The kyat lost a significant portion of its value in the years following the coup. Myanmar's economy was based on natural gas exports, garments, jade and gems, rice, and tourism prior to the coup. About Honduran Lempira
The Honduran Lempira (HNL) is the official currency of Honduras, named after Lempira, an indigenous Lenca chief who led resistance against Spanish colonisation in the 16th century and is celebrated as a national hero. The lempira was introduced in 1931 to replace the Honduran peso. The Banco Central de Honduras manages monetary policy. Honduras is one of Central America's larger economies, with exports primarily consisting of coffee, bananas, palm oil, shrimp, and textiles from maquiladora (export processing zone) factories.
