About Malawian Kwacha
The Malawian Kwacha (MWK) is the official currency of Malawi, one of the world's least developed countries and most densely populated nations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Introduced in 1971 to replace the Malawian pound, the name "kwacha" means "dawn" in the Chichewa language, reflecting the aspiration of a new beginning at independence. The Reserve Bank of Malawi manages monetary policy. Malawi's economy is overwhelmingly agricultural, with tobacco as the dominant export crop.
About Czech Koruna
The Czech Koruna (CZK) became the sole currency of the Czech Republic on 8 February 1993, following the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia - the "Velvet Divorce" - and the separation from the Slovak Koruna.
