About Norwegian Krone
The Norwegian Krone (NOK) is the official currency of Norway and is managed by Norges Bank with an inflation-targeting floating exchange rate regime. Sri Lanka experienced a severe economic crisis in 2022, running out of foreign exchange reserves, causing widespread fuel, medicine, and food shortages that led to political upheaval and the resignation of the president.
