About Omani Rial
The Omani Rial (OMR) is the official currency of the Sultanate of Oman and one of the highest-valued currencies in the world by exchange rate. Introduced in 1973 to replace the Saidi rial, it has been pegged to the US Dollar at 0.3845 OMR per USD since 1986.
