About Philippine Peso
The Philippine Peso (PHP) is the official currency of the Philippines, an archipelago nation of over 7,000 islands in Southeast Asia. Introduced in its modern form in 1949 when the Central Bank of the Philippines was established, the peso replaced the controlled "win" currency used during and after World War II. About Hungarian Forint
The Hungarian Forint (HUF) has been the official currency of Hungary since 1 August 1946, introduced as part of a post-World War II monetary reform that ended one of history's worst hyperinflations - at its peak, prices doubled every 15 hours. The word "forint" derives from the Italian city of Florence (fiorino d'oro). Hungary has been an EU member since 2004 but has not yet adopted the Euro.
