About Pakistani Rupee
The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) is the official currency of Pakistan, the world's fifth most populous country. At independence in 1947, Pakistan adopted the Indian rupee and later issued its own currency. The Tunisian Dinar (TND) has been the official currency of Tunisia since 1960, replacing the Tunisian franc used during the French protectorate period. Tunisia has one of North Africa's most diversified economies, with phosphate mining (one of the world's top producers), olive oil, tourism, and textiles as major industries. The dinar is not fully convertible and Tunisians face restrictions on foreign currency exchange. Tunisia has faced economic challenges following the 2011 Arab Spring revolution and subsequent political instability.
