About Paraguayan Guarani
The Paraguayan Guarani (PYG) is the official currency of Paraguay, named after the indigenous Guarani people who constitute a significant portion of the Paraguayan population and whose language is co-official with Spanish. Introduced in 1944, the guarani replaced the peso boliviano. The Banco Central del Paraguay manages monetary policy.

The National Bank of Ethiopia manages monetary policy. Ethiopia's economy is largely agricultural - it is the world's largest producer of chat (khat) and one of the largest of coffee, which is believed to have originated in the Ethiopian highlands. The birr is divided into 100 santim.
