The Rwandan Franc (RWF) is the official currency of Rwanda, a small but remarkable East African nation that has rebuilt itself after the devastating genocide of 1994 into one of Africa's fastest growing economies and a regional leader in good governance, technology, and financial services. The National Bank of Rwanda manages monetary policy. About Kyrgyzstani Som
The Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS) has been the official currency of Kyrgyzstan since 1993, replacing the Soviet ruble following independence. The word "som" means "pure" in Kyrgyz and several other Turkic languages, historically referring to pure silver or gold. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic manages monetary policy with a managed float regime.
