About Swedish Krona
The Swedish Krona (SEK) is the official currency of Sweden. Despite being an EU member since 1995, Sweden held a referendum in 2003 in which voters rejected adopting the Euro, and Sweden has since maintained the krona with no current plans for Eurozone entry. The Riksbank, established in 1668, is the world's oldest central bank and manages monetary policy.
