About Turkish Lira
The Turkish Lira (TRY) is the official currency of Turkey and Turkish Northern Cyprus. Turkey redenominated in 2005, replacing the old Turkish lira at a rate of 1,000,000 to 1 to eliminate the impact of decades of high inflation.
