About Trinidad and Tobago Dollar
The Trinidad and Tobago Dollar (TTD) is the official currency of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, a twin-island Caribbean nation just off the northeast coast of Venezuela. Introduced in 1964, it replaced the British West Indies dollar. The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago manages monetary policy with a managed float. Trinidad and Tobago is the Caribbean's leading energy producer with significant natural gas and oil reserves. It is also the largest producer of methanol and ammonia in the Western Hemisphere.

The British Pound Sterling (GBP), symbolised by the pound sign "£", is the world's oldest currency still in use, with roots dating to Anglo-Saxon England in the 8th century. It is the fourth most traded currency in global forex markets and the third largest reserve currency after the US Dollar and Euro.
