The Tanzanian Shilling (TZS) has been the official currency of Tanzania since 1966, replacing the East African shilling. The Bank of Tanzania manages monetary policy. About Honduran Lempira
The Honduran Lempira (HNL) is the official currency of Honduras, named after Lempira, an indigenous Lenca chief who led resistance against Spanish colonisation in the 16th century and is celebrated as a national hero. The lempira was introduced in 1931 to replace the Honduran peso. The Banco Central de Honduras manages monetary policy. Honduras is one of Central America's larger economies, with exports primarily consisting of coffee, bananas, palm oil, shrimp, and textiles from maquiladora (export processing zone) factories.
