About Uzbekistani Som
The Uzbekistani Som (UZS) has been the official currency of Uzbekistan since 1994, replacing the Soviet ruble after independence. The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan manages monetary policy. Uzbekistan is Central Asia's most populous nation and has transformed significantly since its economic liberalisation reforms beginning in 2017 under President Mirziyoyev. About Honduran Lempira
The Honduran Lempira (HNL) is the official currency of Honduras, named after Lempira, an indigenous Lenca chief who led resistance against Spanish colonisation in the 16th century and is celebrated as a national hero. The lempira was introduced in 1931 to replace the Honduran peso. The Banco Central de Honduras manages monetary policy. Honduras is one of Central America's larger economies, with exports primarily consisting of coffee, bananas, palm oil, shrimp, and textiles from maquiladora (export processing zone) factories.
